    The discovery of subfloor moisture threatened to delay the refurbishment schedule of a Co-op supermarket in Reading until Erith Flooring Ltd combined some of F Ball and Co’s fast-track products with a little overnight working.

    Preparation of the existing terrazzo floor involved shot blasting followed by the application of F Ball’s Stopgap F75 high-performance waterproof surface membrane.

    By using this in conjunction with Stopgap Accelerator we were able to get the drying time of the waterproof surface membrane down to 3 hours instead of 24 hours meaning that the shop could continue to trade without ever having to close their doors to customers.
